The Venezuelan city of Chacao is located in the metropolitan district of Caracas, in the Miranda State. It has a population of 61,529 inhabitants and a density of 4,733 inhab./km2 (2011 data).
The main economic activity of the city is in the services sector since it is one of the richest cities of the country, which has become a big financial hub of Venezuela, housing the offices of the most important companies in the country.

“In the middle of the street”, founded in 2006 by Cultura Chacao and the Plátanoverde Foundation, transforms streets and squares into artistic spaces to promote citizen culture with various artistic and educational expressions.
