The Library on the beach of Castelldefels, created more than ten years ago, offers an outdoor space to read, chat and participate in cultural activities, involving the community in its programming.

Catalan City placed at the Mediterranean coast 25km South-west of Barcelona near the Garraf Mountains. Castelldefels is split in 2 parts: a urban centre inland and a residential neighbourhood near the beaches and the shore. The city has a campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Olympic canal since 1992 Olympic Games.
