The Nature-Based Solutions Thematic Network, promoted by the Latin American Delegation of Educating Cities, is launching a campaign to bring proposals and actions for environmental care closer to the public.
Through awareness-raising and communication tools, this initiative encourages municipalities and citizens to take both small and large steps that contribute to creating greener, healthier, and more sustainable spaces, to tackle major challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and the effects of heat waves, while improving quality of life and renaturalizing public spaces.
The campaign is the result of a collaborative effort by several cities in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, and represents an opportunity to share experiences, learn from best practices, and move toward more resilient communities. Every tree planted, every green space restored, and every action taken to support biodiversity leaves a positive mark and helps build a city that is more vibrant, greener, and more committed to its future.
