Record number of candidacies for the Executive Committee!

The Association is experiencing a particularly dynamic moment: 19 cities from 11 countries and 4 continents have officially submitted their candidacies to join the Executive Committee. This exceptional figure confirms the vitality, international reach, and growing commitment of the cities that make up our network.

Each candidacy brings its own unique and complementary perspective, reflecting the territorial, cultural, and political diversity that strengthens us and drives us to move forward collectively. We are making available the full dossier, compiled from the information provided by each city, detailing their motivations, proposals, and the contributions they aim to offer. As you know, the Executive Committee is the body responsible for the direction, management, implementation, and representation of the IAEC, composed of a number of members that shall not be fewer than 11 nor more than 15. The statutes also establish that, as far as possible, it will include cities from different continents, as well as cities representing territorial networks and delegations.

The candidacies will be presented and submitted to electronic voting at the General Assembly on May 27 in Granollers (8:30–10:30 CEST), within the framework of the International Congress. Prior registration is required to participate in the Assembly.
