Montevideo 2028

Montevideo awaits you to tackle the urgent challenges facing 21st-century cities. To build truly democratic communal spaces, we must strengthen educational policies that foster critical thinking, values of coexistence, and the sustainable use of resources.

“Education, like the sun, can and must reach everyone.”
José Pedro Varela, founder of the Uruguayan public school system
