Vilafranca del Penedès

Vilafranca del Penedès is a municipality of around 40.000 inhabitants located in the hinterland of the province of Barcelona (Catalonia). The city is internationally known for its sparkling wines –Catalan cava- and its wine controlled denomination area Penedès. Furthermore, the city has several international wineries.
