Tenango del Valle

City from the metropolitan área of the Toluca valley, also known as Tenango de Arista. Part of its territory is included in the Nahuatlata National Park. Its main archeological patrimony is Teotenango, an important prehispanic city, founded during the last periods of the Teotihuacan civilization. Teotenango’s main economic activities are industry, agriculture and tourism.
