Roquetas de Mar

City located in the westernmost part of the Almeria Gulf, Andalusian province of Almería. The city lived an economic boom during the 20th century first with the exploitation of its Salt Evaporation ponds and later with the boom of the intensive agriculture and tourism. Among its historic heritage it is worth mentioning the Castle of Santa Ana as well as the natural park of Entinas-Sabinar.
