Rabat
The Capital of Morocco is placed on the Atlantic Coast at the mouth of the river Buregreg; river that separates the city from the Twin city of Salé. Rabat is the administrative capital of the Kingdom of Morocco and siege of several multinational companies. The old city and the “new city” –emerged during the years of the French Protectorate- were Declared World Heritage Site in 2012 by UNESCO. The city has several interesting sites such as the Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, the Mohamed 5 Mausoleum, the Chellah Necropolis and the Botanical Garden.
