Chihuahua

The city of Chihuahua, capital of the homonymous Mexican state, is the second largest and most populous in the state. 98.7% of the municipal population lives in urban areas, while the remaining 1.3% does so in one of its 303 rural communities. The city’s economy is fundamentally based on industry and the service sector. It has an extensive cultural network, including 16 museums, 5 theaters, 10 libraries and numerous independent cultural spaces.
