Badalona
Located on the shore of the Mediterranean and to the north of the Besós River, Badalona forms part of the greater metropolitan area of Barcelona. The city stretches 21 km2 from the Sierra de la Marina hills to its sea front. Its 220,000 inhabitants make Badalona the third largest city in Catalonia. It is also one of the 10 cities with the highest population density in Spain.
