Argamasilla de Alba

Argamasilla de Alba, in Ciudad Real (Spain) has approximately 7,000 inhabitants. Its economy is based on agriculture, especialy vine cultivation, the proximity to the Guadiana River and the Gran Prior Canal favours it. Its natural heritage stands out, with the nearby Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park. The  House of Medrano, where, according to tradition, Cervantes was imprisoned and wrote part of Don Quixote, is its main cultural heritage site.
