Almodôvar

Almodôvar is a Portuguese town located in the Alentejo region. It covers an area of 777.88 km2, subdivided into 6 parishes. It limits to the north with Castro Verde, to the east with Mértola, to the southeast with Alcoutim, to the south with Loulé, to the southwest with Silves and to the west and northwest with Ourique. The main economic activities of Almodôvar are the cultivation of cereals, livestock and the production of milk and cheese.
