Led by Céline Darnon, the meeting will explore how educators and cities can confront everyday inequalities on Wednesday, 13 May.

The Northern Cities Group invites to join an online conference dedicated to the recently published book Les inégalités scolaires – Comprendre et agir (“Educational Inequalities: Understanding and Acting”). The event, organized by the City of Brussels, will also be open to the IAEC member cities.
The Northern Cities Group brings together municipalities from Northern Europe, including Belgium, Sweden, Poland, FIinland and others, all members of IAEC and committed to lifelong learning. The network promotes the sharing of practices, the co‑creation of tools and the exchange of experiences aimed at reducing social determinism and strengthening equal opportunities. Each year, the group facilitates professional dialogue, resource sharing and cross‑border cooperation on key educational challenges in urban and peri-urban areas, such as school-afterschool collaboration, educational success, youth participation and cultural access.
