Montcada i Reixac

Catalan city of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The river Besòs crosses the city creating a corridor with various highways to the hinterland of Catalonia. Industry is the main economy activity. The population of the city boomed since 1950 as a result of an immigration wave attracted by the industrial development of the region.
