Damyang

City from the South Jeolla province. It extends through 455 km² on which plains, mountains, lakes and forest come one after other. Its main economic activity is tourism, with a wide array of activities related to its main asset, the bamboo. Damyang is the main producer of bamboo products in the Republic of Korea and has an annual festival, a museum and plenty of parks and gardens dedicated to the plant.
