El Puig de Santa María

Town of around 8.600 inhabitants located 14 km away from Valencia, at the county of North Horta. City with a long history, it preserves the remnants of Iberian, Roman and Islamic societies. The landscapes in the orchards, marshland and beaches are also of note. The economy of the city has traditionally revolved around agricultural activities but in recent times the industrial sector is gaining prominence.
