Ávila

Spanish city from the Region of Castile and León which has 62 000 inhabitants and a surface of 231,9km². In 1985 the medieval centre of the city –result of the coexistence of Arabic, Jewish and Christian Culture- as well as some extra-muros churches were declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Nowadays Avila’s economy is based on services, specifically tourism and the automotive industry.
