Nantes

Capital of the French Region of Pays de la Loire. Nantes is placed in the basin of the river Loire not very far from its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean.  The city shares with Saint-Nazaire a major fluvial port. It is also communications’ hub (road, Airport Nantes-Atlantique). The services, the logistics, the food and agriculture and the mechanic, electric, chemical and textile industries are the main economic activities.
