L’exposition itinérante de l’AIVE a été présenté à la Casa de Cultura de Girona le 28 novembre 2016 dans le cadre de la Semaine Ville Educatrice de Gérone qui a duré jusqu’au 2 Décembre.
The inauguration of the exhibition was presided over the Mayor of Girona, Ms. Marta Madrenas, the Deputy Mayor for Education, Ms. Isabel Muradàs and the Curator of the exhibition, Ms. Lali Bosch.
At the opening ceremony, Mayor Madrenas remarked that Girona Educating City is a very important and ambitious project that involves the citizenship to be jointly responsible for education in values.
The program of the Week of the Educating City of Girona also included a meeting of the IAEC member cities of Girona (29/11) province, the Launch of the Vocational Training Council And Occupational School of Girona (29/11), the celebration of the International Day of the Educating City (30/11), a conference day on City-Education-Democracy-Local (1/12), etc.
The Educating Cities: Local Actions, Global Values exhibition shows experiences from 7 IAEC member cities committed to the Charter of Educating Cities, showcases the educating potential of local governments and reaffirms the commitment to education of those cities which received the exhibition.
