{"id":11853,"date":"2021-09-30T10:35:11","date_gmt":"2021-09-30T08:35:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edcities.whads.com\/news\/de-la-escuela-al-mundo-del-trabajo\/"},"modified":"2026-07-29T17:27:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T15:27:00","slug":"de-la-escuela-al-mundo-del-trabajo","status":"publish","type":"edc_news","link":"https:\/\/edcities.whads.com\/en\/news\/de-la-escuela-al-mundo-del-trabajo\/","title":{"rendered":"The transition from school to the workplace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday 5 October (16h CET | 11h Argentina local time) to attend the presentation of following good practices:<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>-The Future Secondary Education, Buenos Aires\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>|\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>Erica Olivera, Adviser, Under Secretariat for Pedagogical Coordination and Equity in Education, and Carola Mart\u00ednez, Adviser, Directorate General for Educational Planning, Buenos Aires<\/em><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Secondary School of the Future deepen on the New Secondary School (NES) and proposes an increasingly inclusive school model that adapts to technological innovations and to the new formats of learning and teaching.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rmpKk-_E7Mo\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rmpKk-_E7Mo<\/a><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>-BCN Vocational and Education Training Foundation (VET), Barcelona City Council |\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>Neus Pons, Foundation Director<\/em><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vocational training issues, partnerships with companies for internships, dual vocational training, entrepreneurship and international internships, the Barcelona VET Council is established as a stable work platform for the different educational, social and economic agents that operate locally, with the main objective of ensuring the improvement of the quality of the vocational training system and job placement in the city .<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciobcnfp.cat\/es\/\">https:\/\/www.fundaciobcnfp.cat\/es\/<\/a><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>-Civic Practices, Brussels |\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>Jennifer Duvinaje, Director of Administration and Alice Rodrique, Citizen Projects Officer, Public Education Department<\/em><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Brussels City Council recognizes the fundamental role of education in building a democratic, fair, inclusive and respectful society for all people. For this reason, the local educational centers develop, on a day-to-day basis, initiatives that promote citizenship education in order to turn students into autonomous, free, responsible and supportive citizens.
