The Mayor of Almada, Mr Joaquim Judas, presided over the Opening Ceremony which had as well speeches by the Deputy Mayor on Education, Culture and Sports of Almada, Mr Ant\u00f3nio Matos, and the IAEC General Secretary, Ms Marina Canals.<\/p>
During the 3 days of work there were some outstanding moments such as the Rountable of Local Authorities, the Keynote Speeches, the presentation of experiences, the adoption of a Final Declaration and study visits to several Almada\u2019s good practices.<\/p>
The Roundtable of Local Authorities had the participation of the Mayors of Almada, \u00c9vora, Mr Carlos Pinto S\u00e1; Loul\u00e9, Mr Vitor Aleixo; the Deputy Mayor of Education and Culture of Braga; and the General Director of Educative Programs of Rosario Ms Carolina Balparda.<\/p>
The Keynote lectures were presented by Professor Joan Manuel del Pozo, which gave a presentation on the theme \u201cEducating City, Adapted\/able, Inclusive, Participated: Democratic\u201d; by the Professor Jaqueline Moll, which gave a lecture on \u201cEducative Curricula at the city\u201d; by the Professor Jorge Gon\u00e7alves, which talked about the \u201cCritical Adaption of the city\u201d; and the Professor Filipa Ramalhete, which gave a lecture on the theme \u201cCritical Participation of the City\u201d.<\/p>
Furthermore, there were four workshops of presentations of experiences during which 58 good practices were presented as well as 4 study visits to several Almada\u2019s good practices.<\/p>
